I don’t understand why there is so many bad reviews on Spring Breakers. I get that it isn’t a movie for everyone but our society mainly revolves around sex, drugs, partying, drinking, trying to be a badass, figuring out who we are in this crazy fucked up world and the illusion that we can get whatever the fuck we want, when we want it. And that is exactly what Spring Breakers is. The movie revolves around 4 girls that go on Spring Break, that right there is a sign that it isn’t going to be some Nicholas Sparks romantic shit. It’s different, its real, its entertaining, its fun and its alive but the movie is interesting. Harmony Korine has a fucked up mind, and he makes fucked up movies that teach you things, that are different, and that are shot at different angles. The movie doesn’t exactly have a plot, and some scenes are unnecessary but the acting was great, and it was completely different from anything in the theatres. So why be so stuck up about it, and just enjoy it? It’s crazy, its brilliant, its dark, its fucked up, and you have to really think about what the movie is trying to teach you but its fun to watch and it shows you what really happens on Spring Break. You don’t have to like the movie but in my opinion its not even close to being the worst movie i’ve ever seen.
